Christopher Peña

My name is Chris! I am a dreamer, mindfulness practitioner, and a truth seeker, rooted in authenticity, non-judgement, and unconditional love. I have been studying yoga and meditation since the end of 2015. After an injury to the lower back, Yoga helped me to hold space for chronic pain and re-create my lifestyle. The way yoga shows up in my continued recovery keeps my practice focused on functional strength, stability, and movement. Now, I am inspired to share these experiential teachings through the facilitation of yoga & meditation classes.

I balance being a teacher by continuing to be a student. I received my 200 hr YTT certification in May of 2018 with Shawn Shaw and the teachers at MetroWest Yoga. I am currently enrolled in a 2-year Global Mindfulness Meditation Certification program and hold certifications through Integrative Wellness Academy, Precision Nutrition, and Ace Personal Training. As an avid practitioner I look to learn something new from anyone I interact with near and far.
